The CPVFD is proud to announce Ari Schloss as the 24th Fire Chief effective January 1, 2022. Chief Schloss is a 27 year member of the department, starting as a live-in UMD student from Baltimore County, MD.

Chief Schloss announced the promotions of Captain Nick Wilbur to Assistant Chief, Fire/EMS Sergeant Adam Quiat to Fire/EMS Lieutenant and Firefighter/EMT Ben Brown to Fire/EMS Sergeant. Stepping down is Fire/EMS Sergeant Peter Johnson while he is serving on a deployment overseas as a US Army Captain with the DC National Guard. We thank Sgt. Johnson for his dedicated service to CPVFD and to our country!
